Experience

I use Canon DSLRs and I have several lenses covering every focal length from 8mm (very wide) to 300mm (very up close!). I have over 16,000 photos on my flickr account that range from the beginning of my digital era, to my most recent shots, that you can view by visiting my flickr page. I've been shooting digital images for around 10 years now and I have all the confidence in the world that I can get the shots I need to make your experience nothing less than wonderful. I was the photographer for Wilson High School's Varsity football team for a couple of seasons. I've done a couple of smaller weddings, and I've done numerous senior portraits, and countless photo shoot sessions I've made my friends and family be my models. Don't take my word for it, go check out my photo page and see for yourself if I have what it takes to be the photographer for your next event!

My Story

Since I bought my first wind-up film camera back in 1996, I knew I had a desire to take pictures, and a good eye for it. I took pictures of dogs, trees, friends... anything I could capture. Years later, my dad bought me my first digital camera, a Fuji Finepix S3100. I knew I truly had a deep passion for photography every time I uploaded my images to my computer and saw what I had created. From there, the desire grew. Fast. Now, armed with my Canon 6D, Canon 5D, Canon Rebel T2i, and two Canon EOS Ms, I've taken my game to a whole new level. I also have several 35mm film cameras by Canon and Chinon.
I'm self-taught, meaning no formal schooling. I've learned almost everything I know from research and experimenting.  I'm a fun-loving, creative photographer that is always open to new ideas, and dedicated to giving you the quality and service you deserve. I'm all about the people, and by that I mean that I know that everybody that wants photos taken, wants that ideal image in their head to become a reality. I commit myself to doing whatever I have to do to make that happen. Without the people, I have nobody to share my passion with, so you all make it worth that extra effort I'll always give.
